As the creator of the digital photographs on this site I, Jason Chapman, also known as Panic!, am the sole and exclusive copyright owner of them. I assert that I am the sole owner and copyright holder of all other text and images on this web site with the exception of the link images, college tunnel maps and web clip art such as icons and the 800x600 image. The urbanadventure.org banner, uacity screenshot image thecity.jpg, back, main and enter graphics are also copyright. None of the text on this web site was copied, plagiarized or paraphrased from any source. The only exception being the information on asbestos and enclosed spaces which was written up by me based on my memory of a large amount of material I read while a health and safety worker but was written entirely in my own words. As the copyright holder I exert my intellectual property rights as outlined in the 1968 Australian Copyright Act and it's amendments. As the owner of these images and text I reserve the right (as permitted under law) to set out the conditions of their use and to set prices for that use as I see fit.

If you wish to use information on this site for the purposes of study, review or otherwise (including placing images or text on other web sites), you will need to pay to do this if you don't ask my permission. Use of images are $200 each and use of text is $100 per paragraph. There is now NO FEE for use of images, even for reasonable commercial purpose provided you ask first and receive permission to do so. Email me for further details. That's right, if you ask first, and I give you permission, you can use images from this site for free! Commercial sites may be expected to pay a small fee if they are multi-million dollar companies.

The problem is, that in most of these cases I would have been happy to allow these people to use images or link to information free of charge if only they had asked first. Regretfully they chose to be dishonest and steal information instead of simply asking for it. Once again, the information on this web site is NOT public domain, and may NOT be copied, modified or distributed in any way including being placed on other web sites.

This copyright policy has been researched for legal accuracy. It is entirely enforceable by law. Having studied law at university I know beyond doubt that I am entirely within my rights and the law by posting the conditions here. If in doubt read the legislation, this this and this.

Plagiarism and this web site.

I have heard a lot of rumors from people, mostly from the cave clan, that I have copied parts of this web site from other sites. This is total crap. Yet these rumors persist. I reiterate that NO PART of this web site has been copied from other web sites apart from a few of the clipart images. However, large parts of this web site have been copied from this web site to other web sites. I have come across other Urban Exploration web sites that have copied whole pages from my site. Also, my Asbestos and Enclosed Spaces web pages have been widely copied, sometimes with my permission, but mostly not.

Sites that have copied from this web site:

The Cave Clan have copied numerous images from my web site and yet again have started to do this. Worst of all they seem to imply that I am copying them and that I get my ideas and inspiration from them. More bullshit and character assassination. Worst of all, after I emailed them about it, one of them had the gall to write: "The correct action for any suspected breach of copyright is to directly contact the webmaster who can then take action on your behalf. If you have a concern in future, the correct action would be to contact webmaster @ ..... " This is from people who didn't bother to email to ask for use of the image in the first place.

The geek group web site copied some of my images and whole pages of text from my web site.

The now defunct and short lived Bellus Industries web site also stole several of my images.
